Spicey Food Can Make You Thin
Latest studies have made a definite connection between spices and preventing the build up excess body fat.
Latest studies performed by The Penn State University have identified that using spices such as cayenne pepper, turmeric, paprika and cinnamon regularly with your meals can significantly aid the weight loss process.
A civilized modern diet contains a high portion of fats and carbohydrates – fats and carbohydrates (carbs) are essential, they give us our energy and help us to function healthily but take on too many on a daily basis and the obvious outcome is consistent weight gain.
Its not only consistant weight gain that should be a concern – carrying around too much body fat can lead to heart disease and even Type 2 Diabetes.
When a meal with a high concentration of fat is consumed it raises the level of triglycerides, a type of fat, in your blood. Adding a liberal sprinkling of the aforementioned spices to your meal has been shown to reduce triglyceride response by about 30 per cent.
One of the most interesting spices is cayenne pepper or red hot chilli pepper.
Chilli pepper has been studied by many different organisations the world over for the last two decades.
Most tend to agree that if there is one spice that should be considered above all others its chilli pepper.
